An Israeli raid on Wednesday targeted the city of Palmyra, famous for its thousand-year-old Greco-Roman temples in central Syria, injuring several people, official media reported.
“The explosions heard in the city of Palmyra are the result of an Israeli aggression that targeted residential buildings and the industrial city,” reported the official Sana agency, while Syrian television reported injuries.
