Travelers, travel agencies monitor situation in war-torn Lebanon as holidays approach

Jean Abboud, president of the Association of Travel and Tourist Agents in Lebanon, said Friday that the number of travelers arriving in Lebanon by air is “very limited” due to the ongoing war with Israel, adding that some travel agencies “rely on bookings made for the holiday period” at the end of the year.Quoted by the official National News Agency (NNA), Abboud stated that “there seems to be no hope” that the current trend could be reversed by a lull before the end of the year.
