The Israeli army said it had bombed “Hezbollah weapons depots” and a “headquarters” of the party in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Saturday.
Israeli fighter jets hit “several depots,” according to a message posted on X by the Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesperson, as well as “the headquarters of the intelligence services” of the party.
The southern suburbs of Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh, as well as Choueifat, south of Beirut, were hit more than 10 times between 4 and 6 p.m. The Israeli army had issued four evacuation notices for as many buildings in these different areas.
