An Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut targeted a meeting in the basement of the command center for Hezbollah's elite force, the al-Radwan unit, killing 16 of its members, a source close to the group told AFP on Saturday.
“The command of the al-Radwan force was meeting in the basement” of a building hit by the Israeli strike on Friday, the source said.
Sixteen members of the force, including its leader and a senior commander, were killed, according to the source.
