In his speech on Sunday, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah reviewed the scope and results of the “Arbaeen operation,” in response to the assassination of its military chief Fouad Shukur in late July in Beirut’s southern suburb. Nasrallah particularly stressed that as part of this response, rockets were fired from positions north of the Litani River, but also from the Bekaa Valley.“This is the first time that Hezbollah has fired drones from the Bekaa Valley,” said Nasrallah.
