TRIPOLI — A body of an unidentified person was found floating in the waters off the Tripoli port Tuesday, L'Orient Today's correspondent in the north reported.
The Lebanese Navy retrieved the body and brought it ashore, where it was then transported to Tripoli Governmental Hospital by a team from the Lebanese Red Cross.
A forensic doctor and a forensic evidence team will examine the body to determine the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the drowning, the correspondent reported.
