An Israeli strike in Lebanon's southern city of Saida Wednesday killed a Fatah official, said a leader from the Palestinian group and a security source, marking the first such attack reported on Fatah in over 10 months of cross-border clashes.

"The Israeli strike in Saida killed (Fatah) group official Khalil Maqdah," said Fathi Abu al-Aradat, a senior member of the Palestinian president's movement, with a security source confirming the report to AFP and adding the strike hit his car.
