BEIRUT — Fuel prices in Lebanon increased according to new tariffs announced by the Energy Ministry Tuesday morning.
The high volatility of the Lebanese lira last week, which briefly reached a record low of LL63,000 prompted the Energy Ministry to begin publishing new fuel tariffs twice per day.
Here are the latest prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,082,000, up by LL34,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,107,000, up by LL34,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,118,000, up by LL23,000
• Gas cylinder: LL685,000, up by LL18,000.
•One kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): $909.73, up by $4.14.
