BEIRUT — Fuel prices sharply increased in Lebanon again on Wednesday, according to the latest tariffs announced by the Energy Ministry. This new price hike comes as the Lebanese lira hit a new record low on the parallel market, trading around LL56,000 against the dollar Wednesday morning.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,005,000, up by LL47,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,030,000, up by LL48,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,055,000, up by LL48,000
• Gas cylinder: LL643,000 up by LL30,000
•One kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators) remains unchanged at $888.29
