Two legal proceedings launched in Lebanon against Sehnaoui after dinner with Netanyahu
The prevailing view among legal experts is that while the two legal proceedings may prompt Lebanon's judiciary to act, they do not guarantee a conviction.

At least two legal proceedings have been launched in Lebanon against SGBL CEO Antoun Sehnaoui following the circulation of reports and pictures of him and former U.S. deputy special envoy for the Middle East, Morgan Ortagus, having dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife. Sehnaoui and Ortagus had hosted the dinner in Washington in memory of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died on July 11.According to information circulating on social media that L'Orient-Le Jour was able to confirm, the first proceeding is a complaint submitted to the prosecutor general at the Court of Cassation, Judge Ahmad Rami al-Hajj, signed by around 20 lawyers.
