The incident took place last weekend in the countryside around Salqin, in northwestern Idlib. In broad daylight and on a public street, a man was lynched to death by a crowd taking justice into its own hands. The victim, identified as a former informant for the fallen Assad regime, was accused of involvement in the arrest and killing of dozens of Syrians.
