BEIRUT — The Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, mocked evacuation orders in a post on X after Hezbollah allegedly issued warnings to residents in northern Israel.
"Between the 'original' and the imitation ... there is a world of difference, like day and night! It's laughable to see the Hezbollah militia try to play the role of a defense army with its caricatured evacuation warnings aimed at our citizens ... There is a huge gap between the genuine brand and a cheap AliExpress knockoff ... you get the idea!" he said in a cynical tirade.
He also claimed that the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army were "for the benefit of the Lebanese, whose lands have been covered with Hezbollah rockets."
This video was published as residents of Kiryat Shmona reported to Israeli media that they had received calls broadcasting recorded messages from Hezbollah urging them to leave the area.
