Netanyahu says he ordered strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs, claims Hezbollah commander was targeted

In a post on X, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had ordered the strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Many of the conditions in the memorandum would be “contingent on the conclusion of a final agreement, leaving open the possibility of a return to war or a prolonged status quo in which active fighting has ceased but nothing is truly resolved,” Axios added.
