Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said late on Friday that the U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad slated to begin on Saturday were a make or break to achieve a permanent cease-fire in the weeks-long Middle East conflict.
In a separate set of measures announced during his address, the government also cut prices of diesel to 385 rupees ($1.38) per liter and petrol to 366 rupees per liter. ($1 = 278.7500 Pakistani rupees)
