The Jordanian military said Saturday that Iran had fired 161 missiles and 120 drones at Jordan since the start of the regional conflict triggered on Feb. 28 by the United States and Israel.
The air force and central and field air defense forces succeeded in intercepting and destroying 261 missiles and drones, a military official said during a press conference in Amman, adding that only 20 missiles and drones were not intercepted.
"The failure rate of ballistic missiles is 15 percent, which confirms the high probability that they could fall on Jordanian installations," he added.
Material damage was limited to 59 houses, 31 vehicles, and 16 incidents involving public property.
