BEIRUT — “At this stage, there is no change” regarding flights to Lebanon, according to a source at Beirut airport and one within Middle East Airlines.

There is “no change for the moment” regarding flights to and from Beirut-Rafik Hariri International Airport, located in the southern suburbs of Beirut, following the mass evacuation order issued by Israel for most neighborhoods in the area, a source at the airport and one within Middle East Airlines (MEA) told L’Orient-Le Jour.

“This shouldn’t have any impact, but everything depends on the strikes. But at this stage, there is no change,” explained the source at the airport.

MEA continued to operate in the fall of 2024, even at the height of the Israeli bombing campaign in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
