Hezbollah claimed responsibility for around 15 strikes carried out since Wednesday morning against Israel, including attacks targeting the headquarters of an aerospace industry company near Ben Gurion Airport, military infrastructure in northern Israel, and the outskirts of Tel Aviv — up to 120 kilometers south of the Lebanese border.

Hezbollah said it launched a strike around 2 a.m. using suicide drones against the headquarters of Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI), a defense systems manufacturer located near Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport. It also claimed to have targeted the Giv'at base east of Safed at 3:30 a.m. with what it described as a “precision missile.”

A third overnight attack, also at 3:30 a.m., targeted the Northern Command headquarters at the Dado base near Safed, again using a “precision missile.” Hezbollah further said it struck, at 5 p.m. Tuesday, radar systems at Kiryat Eliezer — described as the main air defense base in Haifa — with a squadron of suicide drones. At 4:30 a.m. overnight Tuesday to Wednesday, it claimed to have targeted the Ein Shemer base, linked to missile air defense and located more than 70 kilometers in a straight line from the Lebanese border.

Around 2 p.m., Hezbollah said it carried out a series of simultaneous suicide drone attacks against the Tel Hashomer base (about 120 kilometers from the border), the Haifa naval base, and the Ramat David base.

According to the group’s statements, the attacks were conducted “in response to the criminal Israeli aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese towns and villages, including Beirut’s southern suburbs.”

In statements issued Wednesday afternoon, Hezbollah also claimed — for the first time since the escalation began — two attacks in Houla (Marjayoun district) against Israeli soldiers on Lebanese territory. The first targeted an armored personnel carrier, and the second a Merkava tank.

According to our correspondent in south Lebanon, the group also fired a salvo of missiles at an Israeli position on the occupied Hamames hill near Khiam. The site is one of six positions held by the Israeli army inside Lebanese territory since the Nov. 27, 2024 cease-fire that ended the previous open war between Israel and Hezbollah.

The Israeli army said the strikes targeting its soldiers wounded two people.

In a 5 p.m. attack against Israeli forces in Kyriat Shmona, Hezbollah claimed it had “directly hit” its target. The group said it had monitored Israeli troop movements prior to the strike and asserted that helicopters later evacuated the wounded.

Shortly before 7 p.m., Hezbollah claimed “direct clashes” were ongoing, reporting that it detonated an explosive device at 6:30 p.m. in Khiam against Israeli forces.

In a statement, the Iran-backed group said that after spotting Israeli troops attempting to advance toward the southern neighborhood of Khiam, its fighters detonated an explosive device and engaged in direct clashes, “inflicting confirmed casualties.” “The fighting is ongoing at the time of this statement,” it added.
