The Israeli army continued its strikes on Lebanese territory Sunday, killing a man and injuring several others, including a teenager, in the Nabatieh and Saida districts of southern Lebanon.

Elsewhere in Lebanon, in the locality of Al-Qasr, in the Hermel region (northern Bekaa) on the Lebanese-Syrian border, the Lebanese Army conducted a raid targeting a wanted individual from the Jaafar family, reports our regional correspondent.

The man was in a house belonging to people affiliated with Hezbollah. When the army moved in to search the premises, residents gathered to oppose it, sparking tensions.

Additional military reinforcements arrived quickly, and the situation was resolved peacefully, but the wanted individual managed to escape in the meantime.

Around 2 p.m., an Israeli army drone killed a man, Ali Daoud Omais, while he was driving a pickup truck on the road linking the villages of Doueir and Ebba (Nabatieh district), our regional correspondent reported.

The Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, stated that the victim was affiliated with Hezbollah. The party had not yet responded to the operation as of early evening.

The strike also injured six others, including a six-year-old girl and two teenagers, according to the Health Ministry.

Earlier in the day, a young man originally from the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh and residing in Ghazieh, Wissam Badr, was injured in a drone attack that hit two bulldozers in Qanarit (Saida).

The machinery was clearing debris left by a recent Israeli attack two weeks earlier. Construction equipment has been regularly targeted by the Israeli army since the cease-fire began on Nov. 27, 2024, hindering reconstruction efforts by residents in various regions of southern Lebanon.

Other drones also struck the Jabbour area (Jezzine), then dropped stun grenades over the border villages of Yaroun (Bint Jbeil) and Blida (Marjayoun).

Leaflets over Bint Jbeil and aerial overflights

Soon afterward, the Israeli army dropped leaflets over Bint Jbeil, addressed to the local residents. The leaflets claimed that a hospital (unspecified) is used by Hezbollah "terrorist elements" and called on residents "not to approach it."

The messages to Hezbollah fighters said: "Hezbollah members, we are watching you. Stop building terrorist infrastructure."

The leaflets were accompanied by posters featuring several alleged Hezbollah fighters described as "martyrs," a term the group uses for members killed by the Israeli army.

The Salah Ghandour Martyr Hospital, located in Bint Jbeil, quickly responded by denouncing the allegations as "false."

In a statement, the hospital's management condemned and rejected these claims, calling them "a direct threat to its staff and humanitarian mission."

The management said the flyers "make explicit threats against the hospital, based on unfounded and entirely baseless allegations."

The statement also categorically rejected any attempt to tarnish the hospital's reputation, emphasizing that it fulfills its humanitarian mission without regard for any military agenda.

The Health Ministry also condemned "Israeli threats against southern hospitals," describing them as "a serious aggression and a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions, especially international humanitarian law, which guarantees the protection of hospitals, health facilities and medical teams under all circumstances."

The Ministry added that "hospitals are strictly humanitarian institutions responsible for treating the wounded and sick without discrimination," stating that "any targeting or threats against them endanger the lives of patients and medical staff and constitute a blatant crime, unjustifiable under any pretext."

Israeli fighter jets also flew at low altitude over several regions of southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, then were heard over Beirut and its suburbs, as well as several towns in Mount Lebanon.

Two houses demolished in Robb Thalathin

At dawn Sunday, a unit of the Israeli army crossed several kilometers from the border to Robb Thalathin (Marjeyoun), where it detonated two homes, reducing them to ruins.

Nearby houses sustained significant damage, according to our correspondent.

In the same town, an Israeli drone strike killed Ahmad Faqih, a Hezbollah activist, whose death was acknowledged by the group in the evening. His funeral took place later in the day.

At the same time, an Israeli drone targeted a bulldozer that had already been hit in a previous attack in the locality of Aita al-Shaab (Bint Jbeil).

The municipality condemned the act in a statement, noting that two Israeli planes sprayed "substances suspected to be toxic on trees and farmland," raising concerns among residents.

The municipality reported these incidents to the relevant authorities and called for urgent follow-up on the case and measures to protect citizens' safety, property, and agricultural resources.

Despite the cease-fire, Israel continues to occupy at least five positions on Lebanese soil and maintains attacks on southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah-affiliated fighters, but also civilians, homes, and construction companies.

On Saturday night, an Israeli mortar shell landed near the Shanouh farm, on the heights of Halta (Hasbaya).
