The Lebanese Army said a specialized unit uncovered and dismantled a camouflaged Israeli surveillance device fitted with a camera in the town of Yaroun (Bint Jbeil district), during ongoing engineering survey operations in southern Lebanon amid continued Israeli attacks.
In a statement, the Army Command urged residents to stay away from suspicious objects, avoid touching them, and report them to the nearest military post to ensure public safety.

US, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey urge restraint in Gaza
The United States, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey called on Israel and Hamas to “respect their obligations” and exercise restraint in the Gaza Strip, a day after a meeting in Miami.
The talks, attended by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and representatives from the three countries, reviewed the first stage of the U.S. plan for the return of living and deceased hostages from Gaza in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held in Israel, and discussed preparations for the next phase. The cease-fire in Gaza took effect on Oct. 10 after two years of brutal war.

Two Palestinians killed in Israeli army operations in northern West Bank
The Israeli army said Saturday night that it killed two Palestinians in the northern West Bank, following incidents in Qabatiya and Silat al-Harithiya, south and west of Jenin, respectively.
According to Wafa, a 16-year-old boy in Qabatiya died after being shot by Israeli forces during a raid in the town. The Israeli army said he had thrown a brick at soldiers, who responded with gunfire.
In Silat al-Harithiya, a 22-year-old man was killed after throwing an explosive at Israeli troops, the army said. No soldiers were reported injured in either incident.

Israeli army dynamites site near Naqoura, fires toward Kfar Shuba
A loud explosion was heard after 8 p.m. Saturday in the western sector of the border area with Israel, caused by an Israeli army dynamiting operation in Labbouneh, on the outskirts of Naqoura (Sour district), according to our regional correspondent. There was no immediate information on what infrastructure was targeted.
Later in the evening, after 11 p.m., Israeli forces opened machine-gun fire toward Bastara, near Kfar Shuba in the Hasbaya district, and fired flares over the area.
Israeli security cabinet approves 19 new West Bank settlements
Israel’s security cabinet has approved the creation of 19 settlements in the occupied West Bank, according to an official statement issued this morning. The decision brings to 69 the number of settlements approved over the past three years.
"The proposal by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Israel Katz to declare and formalize 19 new settlements in Judea and Samaria has been approved by the cabinet," the statement said, without specifying when the decision was taken.
U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has recently condemned what he described as Israel's "relentless" expansion of settlements in the occupied territory.
