“Risen From Ruins.” A collection of 38 artifacts unearthed at Tal Fadous-Kfar Abida — an Early to Middle Bronze Age site about 12 kilometers north of Jbeil — is on display at the National Museum of Beirut.The exhibition includes cylinder seals, bone tools, jars and potsherds from the Middle Bronze Age, shedding light on trade and daily life, including cooking and storage.It also features a beam ladder used in large-scale construction and, reflecting the community’s sophistication, an ivory balance for weighing small quantities.The objects were recovered before the site suffered severe damage when bulldozers destroyed the hill's upper layers, causing irreversible harm.
