The Israeli army shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy during a raid Monday in the town of Tuqu', south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced.
The boy was identified as Ammar Yaser Sabbah, who died after being shot in the chest.
According to the latest report from the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Israeli forces killed five Palestinians, including a child, between Dec. 2 and Dec. 8, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers or settlers in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, to 232 in 2025, including 52 children.
In total, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied territory since the war in the Gaza Strip began in October 2023.
