The Israeli army said Saturday it had carried out new strikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, as it steps up its fire in the region despite a cease-fire with the Iran-backed movement, which it accuses of trying to rearm.
“A short while ago, the Israeli army struck several Hezbollah launchers that had recently been identified and were installed at military sites in southern Lebanon,” the Israeli military said in a statement, adding that the strikes took place in the Bekaa Valley.
