Israel kills 4 Palestinians, including 3 children, in occupied West Bank

In its weekly report on the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories, the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said four Palestinians, including three children, were killed by the Israeli army between Nov. 4 and Nov. 10 in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The report said the three Palestinian boys were shot dead near the villages of al-Judeira and al-Yamoun, close to Israeli observation posts, while the fourth victim was killed near al-Faraa. The Israeli army claimed the shootings were in response to “stone-throwing” or “Molotov cocktails.”

In total, 45 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli forces since January 2025about 23 percent of all Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank during that period — while 167 settler attacks linked to the olive harvest season have been recorded since Oct. 1, affecting 87 Palestinian communities, the report added.

Series of Israeli strikes on Gaza

The Israeli army carried out several rounds of airstrikes overnight and this morning across various parts of the Gaza Strip, from Beit Lahiya in the north to Khan Younis in the south.

The attacks targeted areas located inside the “yellow line,” which demarcates territory under Israeli control within the besieged enclave, according to Al-Jazeera’s local correspondents.

They added that Israeli forces also conducted artillery fire and demolition operations in eastern Gaza City and Khan Younis.

Despite a cease-fire that has been in place for more than a month, the Israeli army has continued to launch near-daily attacks in Gaza, killing at least 245 people and wounding 627, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

Barrack hails 'remarkable transformation of Syria from isolation to partnership'

U.S. envoy to Syria and Lebanon, Ambassador Tom Barrack, said in a lengthy post on X that recent days marked “a decisive turning point in the modern history of the Middle East — and in the remarkable transformation of Syria from isolation to partnership.”

His statement followed Monday’s historic visit by Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa to the White House.

"The next step in truly 'giving Syria a chance' is the full repeal of the Caesar Act," Barrack wrote

The week before his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, Sharaa was removed from both the U.S. terrorist blacklist and U.N. Security Council sanctions — a move seen as paving the way for Syria’s integration into the international coalition against the Islamic State group.
