The Israeli army announced Tuesday evening the lifting of restrictions imposed on the population during the war with Iran, with airport authorities on their side reporting a "return to normal" of air traffic.
"All areas of the country [are transitioning] to full activity without restriction," the army stated in a release. The new passive defense directives lift the closure of schools and non-essential businesses, as well as the ban on public gatherings imposed during the war initiated by Israel against Iran on June 13.
The Israeli Airports Authority, on the other hand, announced the resumption of "full activity" at the international airports of Tel Aviv (Ben-Gurion) and Haifa (in the north). "As part of the return to normal, the limitations on the number of incoming and outgoing flights, as well as the number of passengers per flight, have been removed," the Authority said in a statement.
