Air France plans to resume its services to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday and to Lebanon on Thursday, while flights to Israel remain suspended until at least July 14, the airline announced Tuesday. "At this point, the airline plans to resume its flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Dubai [United Arab Emirates] and Riyadh [Saudi Arabia] starting Wednesday, June 25, 2025," a spokesperson stated.
These routes had been interrupted on Sunday due to the war in the Middle East, particularly American bombings on Iranian nuclear sites, following a week of conflict between Iran and Israel. U.S. President Donald Trump announced the implementation of a cease-fire Tuesday between the belligerents, who have accused each other of violating it.
Air France has also decided "to resume its flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Beirut [Lebanon] starting Thursday, June 26," according to the same source. Flights had been suspended on June 16. Air France's connections between Paris and Tel Aviv remain suspended at least until July 14, inclusive, Air France emphasized, having already communicated this information on Monday. The line had stopped being operated by the French airline since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on Iran on June 13.
