The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated on Sunday that the United States and Israel had "decided to blow up" diplomacy by launching strikes against his country's nuclear sites.
"We were in negotiation [on the Iranian nuclear program] with the United States when Israel decided to blow up this diplomacy," Araghchi indicated on X, adding that when Iran was discussing with EU countries, "the United States decided, in turn, to blow up this diplomacy."
Reacting to European calls asking Iran to return to the negotiation table, he asked, "How could Iran return to something it never left, let alone destroyed?"
