Iran state radio and TV 'on the verge of disappearing'

BEIRUT — Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that the Iranian state radio and television (IRIB) was "on the verge of disappearing" after the army called on the population to evacuate the area of the headquarters of this institution in northeastern Tehran.

"The mouthpiece of Iranian propaganda and incitement is on the verge of disappearing. The evacuation of residents from the surrounding area has begun," Katz said in a statement.
