Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, neighbors of Israel, announced on Saturday the reopening of their airspaces, which had been closed the day before due to the Israeli attack on Iran to which Tehran responded.
Jordan, which had announced on Friday that it intercepted drones and missiles over its territory, reopened its airspace starting at 7:30 a.m. local time, according to the Jordanian civil aviation authority.
Lebanon and Syria made similar announcements.
The Lebanese airline Middle East Airlines rescheduled its flights to and from Beirut, with passengers having spent the night at the airport due to cancellations or delays.
In Syria, the civil aviation authority also announced the reopening of the airspace, stating that it will “continue to closely monitor the situation in the region.”
