Israeli army denied on Sunday having shot at civilians near a humanitarian aid center in the Gaza Strip in the morning, following reports from Civil Defense mentioning dozens of dead and injured due to Israeli gunfire.
“In recent hours, false information has been disseminated, including serious allegations against the army regarding shooting at Gaza residents in the area of the humanitarian aid distribution site in the Gaza Strip,” the army said in a statement. “The findings of an initial investigation indicate that the army did not shoot at civilians who were near or inside the site,” it added.
