A dispute broke out Friday between youths from the Faqih family and others from the Husseini family in the Chiyeh-Maroun al-Misk neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburb, reported the state-run National News Agency (NNA). One person was killed from the Husseini family during the brawl.
The incident required the intervention of the army and the Internal Security Forces (ISF). A police source confirmed the facts to L'Orient-Le Jour and said that an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the incident.
