The United Arab Emirates, one of the few Arab countries with diplomatic ties to Israel, condemned Thursday the shooting that claimed the lives of two employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
"The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the shooting that killed two employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, expressing their total denunciation of these criminal acts," the Emirati Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published by the official news agency WAM. It also expressed its "solidarity with the families of the victims and with the Israeli people in the face of this heinous attack," according to the statement.
