US urges countries to follow their lead in exiting WHO

US Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday urged member countries of the World Health Organization to "consider joining" the US, which has begun the process of leaving the organization.

"I urge Health Ministers worldwide and the WHO to see our withdrawal as a warning signal," Kennedy said in a video message, stressing that "we have already made contact with like-minded countries and encourage others to consider joining us."
