Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip reported Wednesday of 'at least' twenty-nine deaths and dozens of injuries in Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday at dawn, in the north and south of the Palestinian territory.
The spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Bassal, reported 'at least 25 martyrs and dozens of injured' in strikes in the Jabalyia camp in the north of the Gaza Strip. Four other people were killed in a strike west of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, he told AFP.
On Tuesday, following a brief pause for the release of Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander, Israeli bombings near a hospital in Khan Younis resulted in at least 28 deaths, according to the Civil Defense.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday, on the first day of a Middle East tour by U.S. President Donald Trump, a forthcoming intensification of the war in the Palestinian territory.
