Beijing hopes for 'in-depth' exchange during Iranian foreign minister's visit

China expressed on Tuesday its hope for "in-depth" exchanges with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who is expected this week in Beijing for a visit aimed at "enhancing mutual political trust."

"Both parties will have in-depth exchanges on Sino-Iranian bilateral relations as well as major regional and international issues of common interest," stated the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guo Jiakun, during a press conference.
