The Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced in a statement on Sunday that they had arrested a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Zouk Mikhael, in the Kesrouan region.
The ISF launched an investigation following a complaint filed by a restaurant owner, who was held up by an individual who stole $2,200 and 31 million Lebanese pounds (approximately $346) from a safe.
The arrest took place on April 3. The suspect, a Lebanese national born in 2001, has been referred to the judiciary, the statement added.
