The Israeli army is preparing "attack plans" while the release of hostages held in Gaza continues as part of the cease-fire with the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, Chief of Staff Gen. Herzi Halevi said Saturday.
"Alongside the great enthusiasm that accompanies the return of each hostage, we in the [army] remain mindful of our duty to bring them all back. We are making immense efforts to achieve this while also preparing attack plans," Halevi said, according to a military statement that provided no further details.
