From his home in the Jenin refugee camp, Ismail, 26, watched the conclusion of the cease-fire that came into effect on Jan. 19 between Israel and Hamas with mixed feelings. On the one hand, hope was renewed for the fate of Gazans who will be able to "restart living" and for the Palestinian prisoners who have been released. On the other hand, the young man remained worried, fearing that the situation would deteriorate in the occupied territories.
