The prices of gasoline, diesel, fuel oil and domestic gas continue to rise in Lebanon, according to the latest pricing schedule published Tuesday by the Energy and Water Ministry. The price of domestic gas, which changes less frequently, remains unchanged.
The last decrease dates back to Dec. 24 for these first three fuels, while over a month (between December and January), hydrocarbon prices have increased moderately: Vehicle diesel increased by 2.42 percent, 95-octane gasoline by 3.06 percent, 98-octane gasoline by 2.98 percent, and fuel oil used for generators by 2.61 percent.
Here are the new prices compared to the last schedule:
- 20 liters of 95-octane gasoline: 1,478,000 Lebanese pounds (+10,000 LL)
- 20 liters of 98-octane gasoline: 1,518,000 LL (+10,000 LL)
- 20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): 1,393,000 LL (+13,000 LL)
- Cylinder of domestic gas: 1,091,000 LL (+11,000 LL)
- Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to power private electric generators): $ 716.21, up by $ 7.14 compared to Friday's rate.
