The Palestinian Authority reached an agreement with armed militants in Jenin, West Bank, on Friday, bringing an end to hostilities between the two sides.
Under the agreement, civilian teams will enter the camp to restore water and electricity infrastructure, while security teams will work to neutralize all explosives in the area.
The Palestinian Authority also agreed to allow wanted individuals among the militants to turn themselves in voluntarily, with a guarantee of a fair trial.
Those who choose not to surrender will remain classified as wanted, and efforts will be made to locate them both inside and outside the camp. Additionally, a commission of inquiry will be established to investigate the events surrounding the killing of civilians in the camp, and anyone found to be involved will be brought to justice.
