The Yemeni news agency (SABA) reports that Israel, the United States and the United Kingdom targeted a major power plant near the capital Sanaa during a series of airstrikes on several regions in Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels.
Earlier, the Houthi-affiliated television channel al-Masirah declared that the American-British coalition launched 12 airstrikes targeting the Harf Sufyan district in the Amran province, northern Yemen, while six airstrikes hit the port of Hodeidah on Yemen's western coast, and the Ras Issa port, Yemen's main oil export terminal.
The Israeli army confirmed that the air force conducted strikes on targets "along the western coast of Yemen and deeper into the country," according to a statement relayed by Haaretz.
The channel did not provide further details regarding the casualties or damages caused by these attacks. American and British authorities have not immediately commented on these airstrikes.
