Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, said on Tuesday that his country would act “forcefully” in the event of a violation of the cease-fire agreement in Lebanon, announced as “close” by the United States.
“If you don't act, we will, and with force,” said Katz, quoted in a statement from his ministry, during a meeting in Tel Aviv with the U.N.'s special coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.
