At least 10 people killed in Sarafand and 6 in Haret Saida by Israeli strikes, according to Health Ministry

According to the Public Health Ministry's emergency operations center, quoted by the National News Agency, the provisional death toll from the Israeli raid on the locality of Sarafand, in the Saida district, is at least eight people dead and 21 injured. Search operations under the rubble are still underway, the statement continued.

This toll has now been revised upwards to 10 people killed, “mainly women and children,” according to the president of the municipality, quoted by Reuters.

As for the attack on Haret Saida, the death toll has now risen to six, and the number of wounded to 37. According to information gathered by our correspondent Mountasser Abdallah, the Israeli strike left seven dead.

Five people were also injured in the Israeli raid on Bazourieh, in the district of Sour, South Lebanon.
