Israel's Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, has warned Tehran not to retaliate against the Israeli air force's attack on military sites in Iran on Saturday. “If Iran makes the mistake of launching another missile barrage on Israel, we will again know how to reach Iran, with capabilities we didn't even use this time,” he said, according to Reuters.
On Monday, the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Salami, warned that this latest attack byIsrael would have “bitter consequences,” according to the Tasnim news agency, which added that it had caused “limited damage” and four military deaths.
On the same day, President Massoud Pezeshkian declared: “We do not seek war, but will defend the rights of our nation. Iran “will respond appropriately to the aggression of the Zionist regime,” he added.
