Ever since he took his first steps in the water at the age of four, Simon Doueihy's athletic career seemed to have taken shape. As he took his first swimming lessons, accompanying his three older sisters to the pool, he quickly found his own path. From the age of seven, the Lebanese swimmer, originally from Ehden in North Lebanon, got used to winning his first competitions.Now 22, the Lebanese swimmer mastered the seven disciplines and holds nine national records. He is set to represent Lebanon at the Paris Olympic Games in the 100-meter freestyle swimming race. In this discipline, he is the only Lebanese who finished in less than 50-seconds, with a record 49.69 seconds.
