Outages interrupt Ogero services in Barouk and Baabdat regions

BEIRUT — State-run telecoms are out of service in the Barouk region of Chouf and the Baabdat area in Mountain Lebanon due to "overexertion on the generators" running the service stations there, public provider Ogero said Wednesday. 

Ogero teams are working to fix the failure, the provider added.

Phone and internet outages occur regularly in Lebanon amid shortages of electricity supply or theft of equipment and cables.
