BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry on Wednesday announced a sharp decrease in fuel prices as the Lebanese lira gained value on the parallel market today, standing at around LL106,000 to the dollar after a rollercoaster on Tuesday saw it plummet to LL140,000.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,937,000, down by LL143,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,984,000, down by LL146,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,818,000, down by LL136,000
• The price of a domestic gas cylinder: LL1,277,000, down by LL95,000
• Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators) at $789.24 since Tuesday
