BEIRUT — Large mountain rocks fell near a man's house in the Qabit area of Akkar governorate Monday night after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake in Turkey also shook Lebanon, according to a video the man sent to L'Orient Today

Nobody was reported injured in the incident.

In the video, homeowner Rabii Kanaan shows the entrance and window of his house blocked by large rocks after Monday's quake.

Kanaan also called on authorities to check his house for structural safety.

"I can't live in this house anymore... my kids are scared, it is at risk of collapse," he said.

The 6.4-magnitude earthquake took place on Monday on the Turkish-Syrian borders, causing panic in Lebanon as people felt the tremor.

Residents across the country left their houses fearing for the structural safety of their buildings. In Tripoli, people drove to the Rachid Karami International Fair to spend the night in their cars.
