The Lebanese Army announced Wednesday that it released a man in Beddawi, North Lebanon, who had been kidnapped on an unspecified date.
The release of the kidnapping victim took place after a search of the home of two suspected accomplices, B.M. and C.C., who were allegedly involved in the kidnapping.
The army continues to search for the suspected kidnappers.
The Beddawi region regularly experiences clashes that degenerate into armed clashes.
