BEIRUT — Fuel prices dropped on Wednesday morning following a slight rebound in the Lebanese lira rate against the dollar on the parallel market. The price of 20 liters of 95-octane gasoline, which had hit the LL700,000 mark on Tuesday, recorded a drop of LL47,000 today.
Here are the new fuel prices published by the Energy Ministry:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline are now LL653,000, down by LL47,000.
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline are now LL669,000, down by LL48,000.
• Twenty liters of diesel are now LL789,000, down by LL59,000.
• A cylinder of gas is now LL375,000, down by LL26,000.
• The price of a kiloliter of fuel oil (mostly used for power generators and priced in dollars) has not been modified and still amounts to $1,018, plus a transport surcharge of LL685,000 per kiloliter.
