Health Ministry receives Danish donation of 429,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses

BEIRUT – Health Minister Firass Abiad met with Danish Ambassador to Lebanon Merete Juhl on Wednesday to receive a donation of COVID-19 vaccines at the Rafik Hariri University Hospital.

Here’s what we know:

    • “Delighted to hand over today a Danish donation of 429,000 Moderna COVID Vaccines to the Ministry of Public Health and Health Minister Firass Abiad in support of the Lebanese vaccination drive!” the ambassador wrote on Twitter.

   • As of Jan. 12, the Health Ministry’s vaccination campaign had administered 4,604,317 doses, according to the IMPACT platform.
